So, when someone posted this a few weeks back about DriveTribe, whatever that might be exactly, I submitted an “application” meaning I filled out an online form in about 5 minutes and linked to 3 things I’d written on Oppo, none of which garnered all that much attention.

So, did others get this email? Does it actually mean anything? I guess I’m excited if it does, but I don’t think I’m anything special in the writing department. There is talent here and elsewhere that far, far outshines my ability to put one word in front of another.

I sure didn’t get one. You may have just been plunged into the world of auto journalism... Although I guess we don’t know if there are tens of thousands of these “drive tribes”.

You don’t need talent to succeed, just a fighting spirit! Good luck, if this is true.

I share your enthusiasm. However, in reading the wording over again, I realize it says “... a closed road test of drivetribe...” so... that might just be a way of saying they are trying out the website before going live to everyone. Which is not the kind of “Closed Road” test I was thinking of. Probably much more likely. Boo
